Some of the rooms are underwater!

Here's the funny part: The architect kept its construction details a secret and only unveiled it after it was completed. Look very carefully at pictures of this place... Notice anything?

The ocean facing side is built on a cross. Mind you, this place is built in Dubai and the majority of that region is Muslim. The governing powers of the area could not do anything since the architect built it in such a way that damaging or removing the cross compromised its structural integrity.
