At some point Dan, Huy, Carrie, LB, and myself have played it. Eric played for a bit but... not for long.

I stopped shortly after the first portion of Icecrown came out so I've not touched Cataclysm.

It was fun. I've got some good memories of Dan and I burning through quests that should've been far too difficult with creative strategies. Running instances using nothing but a demon I summoned for a tank and surviving. Or the one time I took control of a massive demon by accident and then sent it on a rampage to destroy the Horde's town on that map. It's a shame they fixed that...

Chad, it should be satisfying alone that you may have single-handed pushed Blizzard to patch that...

Yes, World of Warcraft was a good run, but the day-to-day grinds for tokens and gold became like a 2nd job. In addition, people were unable to experience end-game content and stories without gathering a minimum of 10 coordinated people on a regular schedule for 2+ months with a minimum gear rating.

Another Horde - Must've been some *)$@$&(@% Alliance Lock *reports to GM*
GM - You're saying that the elite demon from the other side of the map killed everything in your town?
Random Horde - Yes!
GM - ...um, and you think it was some Alliance member?
Another Horde - Yes!
GM - ...who in their right mind would try to even enslave that thing *reports for patching*

Yes, the raids were annoying. If only there was a way to run those without requiring 10+ people... ^^
